A gracious thank you for a great sales weekend!
I would like to take a moment to graciously thank all of my belt customers that bought Vanguard Belts at this weekend's Crown Point Gun & Knife Show, most of whom were new customers. Five of those new customers bought two belts each. One individual bought three!
I am beyond words with gratitude that I met so many new customers and that this particular show went so well. Many of this year's prior shows had meager or average sales at best. This show blew them out of the water and helped me to finish the year on a high note.
I also had several prior customers pass by the table and throw me some positive feedback on their satisfaction with their Vanguard Belts. This is becoming somewhat common now, and the crazy thing is that it's not the same people stopping by at every show -- it's different customers almost every time. Sometimes as I'm giving my sales pitch to new prospective customers, a prior customer will happen to be passing by and overhear the conversation, and more often than not they'll chime in and advocate for me on how well their belts are holding up. There's nothing like real-world customer feedback and word of mouth to help promote a product.

I think that for some small businesses like mine, it can really take a lot of time and patience to grow the business. Vanguard Belts has reached its 4 year anniversary in November, and it's been a lot of work to take it this far. What keeps me going is my customer base and their steadfast loyalty and enthusiasm for my belts. It rejuvenates my own enthusiasm to persevere and improve when I get so much positive feedback from satisfied customers.
