Handmade belts by yours truly

Vanguard Belts are cut, punched, and assembled by yours truly.

A huge thank you to those who took a chance on my product at this weekend's Crown Point Gun & Knife Show. Sales were way down at this show (show attendance was light), but I appreciate every one of you that bought a belt, one of whom was a returning customer who wanted another longer one for IWB concealed carry. I offered to do a free exchange for a larger belt, but he refused and insisted on paying for another one because he wanted to keep his first one.

His first one was at least 2-3 years old based on my observations of construction details that only I would know. It was in incredibly good shape considering he claims to have worn it almost daily since he bought it.

No less than 4 other prior customers stopped by to compliment me on their Vanguard Belts. I'm thrilled that they're satisfied, and even more thrilled that word of mouth is positively impacting my business. Several customers have literally pulled their family members and/or friends to my table to try to coax them into getting a belt because they love their own. Who does that? For a belt? Satisfied customers do, that's who.

Several people with whom I spoke were on the fence about taking a chance on a Vanguard Belt, but took home a brochure instead with pertinent info. If you are one of those people, feel free to send me questions via email or text message or even a call if you need more information to help you to decide.

Synthetic belts are a hard sell for some people. I get it. Most of those folks that are in doubt tend to associate the term "synthetic" with cheap dollar store "pleather" belts, probably from a bad personal experience with such a belt. Vanguard Belts are NOT those cheap belts, I can assure you. They're something different. And it is my core belief that they'll outlast leather belts as well as outperform them in terms of giving a solid platform upon which to clip your EDC gear, whether that's a holstered firearm, a smartphone, a flashlight, or your daily tools if you carry them. I create and market these belts to be durable, hardy, and sturdy belts. If I didn't believe they'd hold up to rigorous use I wouldn't have bothered to build a business around them. Try one -- you won't be disappointed. I stand behind my product, and my loyal customers will tell you that too.

In other exciting news, I've been tinkering at the workbench recently trying to come up with some prototype items that I hope to add to the product line. Without giving too much away just yet, think "functional belt-worn accessories". I feel it's time to add new products that are useful for EDC and can help showcase ways to utilize the stellar waist platform that are Vanguard Belts. Stay tuned -- I'm eager to create and share as soon as I have viable items!
