Tinkering: Shotgun belt prototype

Some tinkering is underway during a lull in the gun show. A prior belt customer called me a few weeks ago to ask if it was possible to create a belt with shotgun shell loops. I told him I'd never thought to try that, but I asked him to give me a few weeks to tinker.

Today, I think I've found the right hole punch spacing to make this possible and practical. Next, I will touch base with the customer to ask a few more specifics about other construction details that we need to finalize.

While this is not likely a belt product I would create a full inventory of in all sizes, I could offer this on a custom-build basis. I'm not sure on price point yet, but since there's a good bit more labor & material to make these, they would come at a bit of a premium price.  TBD
